Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural commodity futures and options brokerage.
Proven track record of managing and transferring a book of clients in grains, oilseeds, wheat, or cotton.
Deep understanding of futures/options markets, hedging strategies, and give-up arrangements.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
Established relationships with LATAM or North American agricultural clients.
Experience in both client-facing sales and internal desk operations.
Proficiency with trading platforms (CQG, TT, Trayport) and Microsoft Excel/Power BI.
Responsibilities
The Futures & Give-Up Broker will be responsible for executing and managing futures, options, and give-up transactions while maintaining and expanding an existing client base. The ideal candidate has strong relationships with agricultural commodity clients in LATAM or NorthAmerica and can transition their book of business to Amius.
Transfer an existing client book in grains, oilseeds, wheat, or cotton, establishing Amius as their new brokerage partner.
Execute futures, options, and give-up transactions for clients and internal trading accounts.
Advise clients on hedging strategies, market trends, and pricing intelligence.
Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and retention.
Collaborate with our front office teams to develop tailored hedging solutions.
Manage margin, settlement, and regulatory compliance for client positions.
Keep up to date with global agricultural markets, macroeconomic factors, and geopolitical developments affecting commodity prices.
